Heidi Steger

Quilt member, Heidi Steger, seems to have quilting on her mind even when traveling in France. She was inspired by Église de St. Germain in Rennes (her home base) and in the mosaics on the floor of the Basilica de Sacré Coeur in Paris. 

She hopes these photos serve as a  reminder that you may find inspiration wherever you are.

I found these in the mosaics (below) on the floor of the Basilica de Sacré Coeur in Paris.

Quilt patterns can be found everywhere, and France is no exception. I find them in the floors of old buildings like this one: Église de St. Germain in Rennes.
