"Scrap Quilt Ornament" Workshop
Want to use up your scraps and make some gifts at the same time? Well take this fun Zoom workshop. You will be using your scraps, cotton and/or fancy fabrics to make a wonderful 3" x 3" collage quilt. Adorn it with fun trims and embellishments, then attach it to a hanger. It is the perfect size to hang on your Christmas tree or display on an ornament hanger.
Bio: Guild member, Kim Brownell, calls herself the "Wackydoodle Quilter" due to her easy-going, whimsical style. She doesn’t always follow the quilting rules and tends to ignore the "Quilting Police." Her work gravitates towards animals, nature scenes, and bright colors. Her techniques include and blend: fabric collage, free form art quilts, raw-edge appliqué, as well as many others. She has been quilting since 1993, teaching workshops since 2010, and has received many awards and recognitions. It is Kim’s dream to inspire you to have fun while learning what you can create.
