In 2004, Marilyn got married in Hawaii in January, then flew to South Africa in April for the fourth leg of the Inaugural World Cruise of the newest ship of Crystal Cruise Lines, the Serenity, where she designed and constructed the Inaugural Cruise Quilt, cruised across the Atlantic Ocean to St. Helena, Rio, Salvador, British Virgin Islands, Caribbean, Florida, and wound up in New York 29 days later.
Three months later, she found herself on a wagon train in Wyoming. Now she's just going to stay home for awhile and rest on her laurels -- whatever they might be -- while putting together programs to share with quilt guilds on her travels and the wonderful quilters she met all around the world.
