TRAVEL SCHEDULE FOR THE OPPORTUNITY QUILT
Volunteers are needed to display the quilt and sell RCQG opportunity quilt tickets to members of other quilt guilds and to the general public. Traveling to other guilds is very interesting and lots of fun! When showing the quilt, plan to arrive at the scheduled meeting thirty minutes early for set up.

To volunteer, contact Jacques Tucker (see contact information above.)

Each year the guild hosts a quilt show. This is the premier event of the year featuring quilts and wearable art created by our members. A guild member is select to be the featured artist and her (or his) work is displayed. The theme for this year is: Rhapsody in Bloom.

A highlight of the show is the opportunity quilt (pictured above). This quilt was made by members of the guild. It is adapted from a pattern, used with permission, from CrabApple Hill designs. Makers include: Traci LaDue who made some pattern modifications and did all the coloring; embroiderers: Sandy Ross, Teri Moore, Jacques Tucker, Dee Irwin, Arleeta Krolwkowski, Ruthie Schindler, Lina Santin, Debra Cribbins; quilted by Michelle Lingo of Shining Star Quilts and embellished by Traci LaDue and Sandy Ross. This quilt is donated as a fund raising opportunity to support the cost of the show and provide educational opportunities to guild and community members. One lucky person will the the happy owner of this quilt when the winning ticket is drawn on the last day of the show.
