Welcome to our 2011 Quilt Show!
Symphony of Color
The 2011 Quilt Show Committee has worked all year planning and fine-tuning the details of the show. Over 200 quilts have been entered in the show. As you walk through the show you will see many beautiful and creative quilts and items that guild members and non-members have made to share with you.
Our Featured Artist, Jan Soules, is well known for her fabulous award winning quilts. Jan will be here all weekend to talk to guests about her quilts, and twice a day will be conducting tours through her wonderful quilts.
Many guild members devote their time to making community service quilts that are given to local pediatric departments for distribution to their patients. A few of these quilts are on display in the hall leading to the Bruno Room.
We have twenty-nine vendors this year. They are located in the Main Hall, the room off the main hall and the Bruno Room. The vendors look forward to greeting you as you inspect their wares. Handmade crafts are for sale in the Country Store, there are great ideas for holiday gifts.
The 2011 Opportunity Quilt design is taken from Anelie Belden’s book, “Thoroughly Modern Dresden”. Anelie resides in Volcano, California. More information is available at www.anelie.com.
