QUILTER'S TREASURES

    Hey, guild members, I have taken on the position of Quilters
Treasures for 2012. I have already purchased things from the
Keepsake Quilting and Connecting Threads Websites. I hope to
look at and buy from other sites. If you have some websites you
especially like, please let me know.
   I also plan to attend quilt shows and purchase from the vendors
there, and visit quilt shops, and support them. Yeah - field trip time.
I will run Quilters Treasures on the nights we have speakers, and
maybe a few of the others.
    Remember, you cannot win these fine quilting items, unless you
support the effort. Tickets will be 6 for $1.00.

    Each month we have the opportunity to see the creative treasures of our fellow quilters. We look at their work, sigh... and wish we had completed the project ourselves. For the moment we are anxious to rush home and act upon our newly acquired inspiration. But first, we have another treasure to strive for.
    Tucked in the back of the room is Quilter's Treasures -- a table full of prizes awaiting your raffle number. (Tickets are 6 for $1.) The coordinators visit quilt shops and specialty stores searching for items that might entice you to try your luck. They endure this "hardship" in order to bring exciting new items each month.
    But, your help is needed. Do you know of a special item that has made quilting easier or more enjoyable? Do you have a suggestion that might make Quilter's Treasures more interesting? We are looking for new ideas and items to raffle off.
