Caryl Bryer Fallert is internationally recognized for her award-winning art quilts, which have appeared in hundreds of national and international exhibitions, collections, and publications. Honors include 100 Best Quilts of the 20th Century, NQA, Masterpiece Quilt Award, and selection as one of the thirty most influential quiltmakers in the world. Caryl has lectured and taught in eleven countries around the world.
Her work has a ppeared in hundreds of exhibitions and publications throughout the world, and can be found in museum, corporate, public, and private collections in twenty two states and six foreign countries.
Caryl travels extensively, and has lectured and conducted workshops for quilt and textile arts groups throughout the United States, and in ten foreign countries. Her goal as a workshop leader is to help each student find the key to her/his personal creative style.
This fast moving, information-packed digital lecture focuses on her recent quilts, and takes an in-depth look at their development. She will discuss, in detail, her personal methods for finding inspiration and creating designs. Her sewing and quilting technques will be included, with lots of close-up details. A question and answer time after each lecture is welcome.

Various methods of machine quilting will be introduced and demonstrated in this class, and you will have a chance to make a small sample of each one. Major emphasis will be on free-motion (feed-dogs down, hand guided) quilting. Workshop will include a slide lecture full of information and inspiration.
