California State Fair and Sacramento County Fair
Each year the Guild demonstrates quilting at the California State Fair and the Sacramento County Fair. Hundreds of volunteer hours are donated by Guild members who greet the public and contribute their time to quilting various quilts during a two week run of the State Fair. Thousands of visitors are exposed to the art and craft of quilting and the Guild members enjoy the many questions and compliments on the quilts in progress.
