Be sure to check out the many quilting and non-quilting themed raffle baskets available. We encourage donations by our mini-groups, local businesses, and members. With at least three drawings each day, you are sure to win something!
Members are encouraged to participate in the "Challenge Quilt" by creating a quilted item based on a selected theme that changes each year. These are voted on by the membership and then displayed at the upcoming show.
Enjoy the show and do your holiday shopping at the same time. Choose from a wide variety of handcrafted gift and sewing related items. It's also a great time to treat yourself! Be sure to also check out the Market Place.
Free quilt-making demonstrations are offered each day of the show. Watch how members do their favorite techniques and discover new quilting products from our vendors.
We appreciate the great talent within our guild and are honored to feature one of our members each year as our featured artist. MORE>
Our show is judged by the Elimination Method. Awards are given in each categories at the sole discretion of the judges. Attendees cast their vote in choosing the Viewer's Choice (the Harriett Merriam Award). We have two awards that are voted on by the membership: Members Choice (ballots are completed at the Preview Party and the award will be placed on the winning entry before the opening of the show on Friday) and the Theme Challenge Award. The winning Challenge quilt is selected by popular vote of guild members during the October meeting.
Quilted items are available for sale or by silent auction in the Market Place. These are generally art quilts, medium to large bed size quilts, wearables, and unique/one of a kind handbags. Be sure to also check out the Country Store.
